The coding region has been updated to represent alternative splice sites that are more supported by the available transcript and protein data. These alternative splice sites (nts 3484-3485 of NM_001099952.2) represent a non-canonical GA-AG donor-acceptor pair, but are well-supported by all available human transcripts, and by homologous transcripts in mouse, rat and cow.
