The goal of this project is to integrate next generation sequencing (NGS) data, detailed phenotypic information, environmental niche modelling, and demographic and species delimitation analyses to resolve taxonomic uncertainties and infer the processes shaping genetic, ecological and phenotypic diversification in alpine grasshoppers from the genus Podisma (Orthoptera: Acrididae).
