We performed 16S rDNA sequencing-based profiling of the urinary microbiome using DNA extracted from urine sediment samples obtained from individuals of SLE with (n = 24) or without (n = 24) lupus nephritis (LN), as well as healthy controls (n = 22) recruited from The Affiliated Drum Tower Hospital.
