Genome Information for Lates japonicus
The draft genome of Japanese lates, akame (Lates japonicus) was sequenced to estimate genome wide genetic polymorphism in this threatened species. Transcriptomes of brain, muscle, and liver were also sequenced to obtain accurate gene annotation.
