While genomic tools hold significant promise for applications in ecosystem conservation and management, their current utilization remains limited. Intertidal macroalgae species experience continuous exposure to diverse stressors, demonstrating a heightened potential for adaptation and acclimation. Many of these species act as foundation species, playing a pivotal ecological role in ecosystems. For this reason, it is crucial to comprehend the adaptive capacities of these species to allow an effective management and conservation of communities. In this study, we provide the transcriptomes of three intertidal macroalgae species: Chondrus crispus, Laminaria hyperborea, and Laminaria ochroleuca. The resulting assemblies yield N50 values within the range of 619-578 bp, with BUSCO scores ranging from 56.1% to 27.5%. These assemblies have undergone both structural and functional annotation and were made available.
