SSH cDNA library was prepared from RNA of Rhizoctonia solani and Stachybotrys elegans growing in interaction as tester, and RNA of Rhizoctonia solani and Stachybotrys elegans growing alone as driver. The RNA was a pool of different time periods (about 12h before contact, day of contact, 2 days, 4 days, 6 days, 8 days, 10 days, and 12 days after contact of both hyphae). The cDNA isolated with SSH were cloned in the vector PcR2.4. The inserts were amplified by PCR and the corresponding amplicons were printed on microarray slides. The up-regulated genes were identified by microarray.
