Description

The Copperband butterflyfish (Chelmon rostratus) is found Pacific and Indian Oceans reefs. They have long beaks, very colorful like butterflies, and are used in aquariums. This sample was collected by Byrappa Venkatesh, supported by Gene Myers, in collaboration with Richard Durbin, and used to generate a high-quality reference genome as part of the G10K-VGP and Fish VGP projects.
