This figure is described further in the “PTSD symptoms” section as follows: “Our meta-analysis of the trials reporting CAPS scores found a greater decrease in PTSD symptoms among subjects treated with exposure than those in an inactive comparator group (SMD, −1.12; 95% CI, −1.42 to −0.82; 8 trials [9 comparisons], N=689); I-squared 68.66%; SOE) (Figure 8).”
