CADTH Rapid Response Reports

Ottawa (ON): Canadian Agency for Drugs and Technologies in Health; 2011-.
ISSN: 2563-6596

CADTH Rapid Response reports, now renamed to Health Technology Review, answer decision-makers’ specific questions regarding health technologies. Because the urgency of policy and practice decisions sometimes require a more immediate response than is possible when more comprehensive assessments are requested, CADTH produces these reports based on the requestors’ needs and timelines. Therefore, they vary in level of rigour — many are summaries with critical appraisal and policy implications, while others consist of a systematic review and meta-analysis and may also contain an economic component.

The Canadian Agency for Drugs and Technologies in Health (CADTH) is an independent, not-for-profit producer and broker of health technology assessments. Health care decision-makers rely on our work to make evidence-informed policy and practice decisions about drugs and other health technologies.

CADTH Health Technology Assessments was renamed to Health Technology Review on on Oct. 29, 2021.
