Early E3 14.5 kDa protein
The E3B 14.5 kDa was first identified in Human adenovirus type 5. It is an integral membrane protein oriented with its C terminus in the cytoplasm. It functions to down-regulate the epidermal growth factor receptor and prevent tumour necrosis factor cytolysis. It achieves this through the interaction with E3 10.4 kDa protein.
