Progesterone receptor modulator asoprisnil effect on endometrium: dose response

Analysis of endometrial tissue collected at hysterectomy from women with symptomatic uterine fibroids who were treated orally with up to 25 mg asoprisnil once daily for 12 wks until hysterectomy. Results provide insight into the molecular basis of endometrial bleeding suppression by asoprisnil.

Regulation of endometrial bleeding by uNK cells

(Submitter supplied) Uterine NK cells (uNK) play a role in the regulation of placentation but their functions in non-pregnant endometrium are not understood. We have previously reported suppression of endometrial bleeding and alteration of spiral artery morphology in women exposed to asoprisnil, a progesterone receptor modulator (PRM).
