Analysis of uninvolved and lesional skin of 13 patients with plaque-type psoriasis. Psoriasis vulgaris is characterized by hyperproliferation and incomplete terminal differentiation of epidermal keratinocytes. Results provide insight into the molecular pathogenesis of psoriasis.
