Pseudotevenvirus RB43

RB43-GVA is a novel strain of the RB43 phage, which is now referred to RB43-TLS (Trojet et al., 2011).

Lineage: Viruses[32582]; Duplodnaviria[18025]; Heunggongvirae[18025]; Uroviricota[17873]; Caudoviricetes[17873]; Straboviridae[782]; Pseudotevenvirus[40]; Pseudotevenvirus RB43[1]
RB43-GVA and RB43-TLS do not have the same range of Escherichia coli bacterial host. We have sequenced RB43-GVA to point genomic differences between both strains and then highlight genes that would be involved in the host specificity. The 454 deep sequencing method has been used by the LGC-Genomic Society.

Summary
