SRX17602931: DNA-seq of Macaca: male brain
1 BGISEQ (MGISEQ-2000RS) run: 304.7M spots, 45.7G bases, 28Gb downloads

Design: DNA samples were extracted from frozen brain/blood tissues of 27 macaque animals. Whole genome sequencing was performed on MGISEQ-2000RS sequencing systems, with 151 bp paired-end reads mode.

Study: Adaptive Structural Variants in Humans Revealed by Rhesus Macaque Population
show Abstracthide Abstract
We performed genome sequencing on 27 captive Chinese-origin macaques with approximately 30-fold coverage of the genome and also integrated public genome resequencing data. Based on this, we present the most comprehensive SV landscape in rhesus macaques to date on the basis of deep integration of whole-genome sequencing (WGS) data from 1,026 macaques. We report the contributions of SVs, especially inversions, to the formation of the population structure and speciation in primate evolution.
