SRX23017765: CYZ smeE gene deletion
1 ILLUMINA (Illumina HiSeq 2500) run: 28.6M spots, 8.6G bases, 2.5Gb downloads

Design: S. maltophilia CYZ (deletion of smeE gene) was harvested in the late-logarithmic growth phase. The total RNA was extracted using RNeasy Mini Kit, quantified and used for following library preparation. The constructed library was then sequenced using Illumina HiSeq platform

Stenotrophomonas maltophilia is a Gram-negative rod motile bacterium, which has emerged as an important multidrug-resistant pathogen responsible for many types of clinical infections. The bacterium uses eight resistance-nodulation-division (RND) efflux pumps that enable resistant to a wide range of antibiotics. We compared the transcriptional changes of antimicrobial resistance genes during lacking or overexpressing smeE gene through transcriptome sequencing analysis.
