Dromaius novaehollandiae (emu) genome, bDroNov1

In order to generate a high-quality reference genome of emu, we produced 70-fold PacBio reads, 124-fold 10x linked reads and 46-fold Hi-C data from a female individual. The primary assembly produced with PacBio reads by FALCON-unzip consists of 1,389 gapless contigs(N50 13.3 Mb). Then the contigs were oriented and connected with above mentioned three types of linkage data into 802 scaffolds(N50 82.7 Mb). The final genome consists of 29 autosomes and a pair of ZW sex chromosomes.
