However, diseases in aquaculture are the main problems affecting the rapid and healthy cultivation. Transcriptomic analysis of pre-ovipositional embryonic arrest in the green sea turtle (Chelonia mydas)

(Submitter supplied) After gastrulation, oviductal hypoxia maintains turtle embryos in an arrested state prior to oviposition. Subsequent exposure to atmospheric oxygen upon oviposition initiates recommencement of embryonic development.
