Description
The RSC specific 22K 8pack array is a customized miniature genomic tiling microarray designed for the analysis of chromatin structure in mutants defective for RSC (Remodels Structure of Chromatin) function. The array represents 218 specific loci from the Saccharomyces cerevisiae genome. These loci include 99 highly occupied targets, 43 non-occupied loci, 54 loci containing Pol III genes, and 22 other loci of interest. Each locus consists of 60mer oligonucleotides spanning an intergenic region of interest and a portion of the flanking ORFs with a mean resolution of 110 bp. The oligo probes were selected from Agilent Technologies’ Yeast Whole Genome ChIP-on-chip Microarray (Platform GPL3737). Additional probes were designed to increase tiling resolution; these are identified with Spot_ID prefix of SC_TJP. The array is based on the 8 pack 22K array format. Each array consists of 1900 spots. The Agilent Design ID is 014377.
