Overall design |
64 total libraries were prepared from 52 unique RNA samples, representing the molecular response to traumatic brain injury spanning 9 timepoints from 0 through 15 days post-injury. Samples consist of heads isolated from 3d old uninjured males (controls, 0 post injury timepoint) and paired sham vs TBI injured animals (3d old males) at 1h, 3h, 6h, 12h, 24h, 3d, 7d, 10d, and 15d post-injury. All times/conditions have 3 biological replicates, with the exception of 15d due to library prep failure. Library preparation took place on two separate days (noted as library 1 or library 2), hence libraries for control and sham/TBI 24 h timepoints were prepared twice and used for batch effect correct.
