Title IRF1 and IFNγ regulated gene expression in A549 lung epithelial cells
Organism Homo sapiens
Experiment type Expression profiling by high throughput sequencing
Summary Identification and comparison of genes induced by IRF1 ectopic expression versus IFNγ treatment in A549 lung epithelial fibroblasts.

Overall design IRF1 or FLUC control were ectopically expressed in A549s using a lentiviral expression cassette. 72 h after transduction, FLUC expressing cells were further treated with or without 1000 U/mL IFNγ for 12 h. All samples were subsequently harvested for analysis. Three biological replicates were conducted per sample. For RNA-seq analysis, changes in gene expression with IRF1 ectopic expression or IFNγ treatment were determined via comparison to untreated cells ectopically expressing FLUC control.
