Title |
IRF1 and IFNγ regulated gene expression in A549 lung epithelial cells |
Organism |
Homo sapiens |
Experiment type |
Expression profiling by high throughput sequencing
|
Summary |
Identification and comparison of genes induced by IRF1 ectopic expression versus IFNγ treatment in A549 lung epithelial fibroblasts.

Overall design |
IRF1 or FLUC control were ectopically expressed in A549s using a lentiviral expression cassette. 72 h after transduction, FLUC expressing cells were further treated with or without 1000 U/mL IFNγ for 12 h. All samples were subsequently harvested for analysis. Three biological replicates were conducted per sample. For RNA-seq analysis, changes in gene expression with IRF1 ectopic expression or IFNγ treatment were determined via comparison to untreated cells ectopically expressing FLUC control.
