Treatment protocol Yeast harvested at indicated time-points was broken in RNA isolation buffer using a Beadbeater (BioSpec).
Growth protocol Budding yeast cells were inoculated into liquid YPD media with an initial OD600 = 0.2 containing 2% and 0.5% glucose respectively. All cultures were incubated at 30 °C in a 200 rpm shaking incubator.
Extracted molecule total RNA
Extraction protocol For total RNA isolation, we used TRIzol LS reagent (Invitrogen), according to the manufacturer's instructions.
Label Biotin
Label protocol Biotinylated cRNA were synthesized according to the Affymetrix protocol from 250 ng of total RNA.
 
Hybridization protocol Following fragmentation, 5 μg of fragmented cRNA were hybridized onto a microarray (GeneChip Yeast Genome 2.0 Array) for 16h at 45 °C. Microarrays were washed and stained in GeneChip Fluidics Station 450.
Scan protocol Microarrays were scanned using the GeneChip Scanner 3000.
Description Gene expression data from yeast cells which were cultured in 2% glucose-containing YPD media and harvested at 12h after inoculation.
Data processing All raw data were generated using Affymetrix software, Command Console. The cel files were imprted into Partek Discovery Suite and further processed using quantile normalization in Partek Discovery Suite.
