Data processing Probe sequences were downloaded from the Agilent website and aligned to a transcript sequence database consisting of 49,040 Mus musculus genes from Ensembl57. After removing probes that did not align, or aligned with more than 5 mismatches (n = 19,194), or probes that aligned to multiple genes (n = 2,283), 23,006 probes representing 17,585 genes remained. Expression profiles were quantile normalized and log transformed
