Normal human epidermal keratinocytes (NHEKs) were treated with DMSO or 9 (alias PP-2) (0.5 uM) and harvested at 12, 24, 36 and 48 h. Total RNA from each sample was isolated and purified with the RNeasy Mini Kit (Qiagen). Total RNA was examined on an Agilent Bioanalyzer and the 28S/18S ratio exceeded 2.0 for all samples.
