Extraction protocol |
Total RNA was extracted from frozen individual dissected cerebellar external granular layer and treated with DNAse using RNeasy Minikit (Qiagen) in accordance with the manufacturer's protocol. RNA quality and quantity were then checked on the Agilent 2100 Bioanalyzer with RNA 6000 NanoChips (Agilent Technologies).

Description |
Illumina provides one expression value per gene corresponding to the mean of at least 20 beads on the microarray. Genes were considered to be expressed if their detection p-value (provided by Illumina) was less than 0.01.

Filtered data were processed under R software for normalization by the mean and Student t-test.
