Description Strains were grown exponentially in Bio101#4027-122, and total RNA was extracted using the hot phenol method. Yeast Genefilters Microarrays were used to hybridize the resulting RNA according to the manufacturer's instructions. Five micrograms of total RNA were reverse-transcribed, and hybridizations were done in duplicate using two separate GeneFilters. The membranes were exposed to a phosphor imaging screen for 3 days. Images were acquired by using a Storm 860 (Molecular Dynamics), and analyzed by using the PATHWAYS 3 (Research Genetics) software.
