Sample GSM4454866 Query DataSets for GSM4454866
Status Public on Jan 01, 2022
Title INC1_ZT16
Sample type SRA

Source name fly heads
Organism Drosophila melanogaster
Characteristics genotype: inc1
age: 27 days old
timepoint: Zeitgeber time 16
Extracted molecule total RNA
Extraction protocol Total RNA was extracted using TRIzol reagents and homogenized using a BeadBug microtube homogenizer (Benchmark Scientific). Samples were further extracted using chloroform and the aqueous phase containing nucleic acid was collected. RNeasy Mini Kit (Qiagen) was then used to remove DNA with DNase and further purify the samples, following the manufacturer's protocol.
Sequencing libraries were prepared with the Illumina TruSeq stranded mRNA LT kit

Library strategy RNA-Seq
Library source transcriptomic
Library selection cDNA
Instrument model Illumina NextSeq 500

Description Raw_data_combined.txt
Data processing bcl2fastq v2.20 was used for basecalling.
STAR v2.4.2a was used for alignment.
featureCounts was used for generate counts matrix.
Genome_build: FlyBase release 6.13 (May 2016)
Supplementary_files_format_and_content: tab-delimited text files include raw counts for each aligned gene for each sample
