Sample GSM5380275 Query DataSets for GSM5380275
Status Public on Jan 01, 2022
Title 3-2
Sample type SRA

Source name visceral adipose tissue
Organism Canis lupus familiaris
Characteristics animal id: A4820
treatment status: Pre-ACTH
gender: F
tissue: visceral adipose tissue
Treatment protocol Permanent administration of tetracosactide, a synthetic analog of ACTH, was performed with osmotic pumps for 25 weeks. Pumps were replaced every 4 weeks. Tetracosactide dosage started at 1.3-1.95 μg/kg/day, increasing to a final dosage of 6-10 μg/kg/day.
Extracted molecule total RNA
Extraction protocol VAT was collected by laparotomy before and after ACTH treatment. Total RNA was isolated from VAT tissue with the RNeasy Lipid Tissue Mini Kit (Qiagen GmbH, Hilden, Germany).
The libraries were prepared following Illumina TruSeq stranded mRNA protocol. The quality of the RNA and final libraries was determined using an Agilent 4200 TapeStation System. The libraries were pooled equimolecularly and sequenced in an Illumina NovaSeq sequencer (single-end 100 bp) with a depth of around 20 Mio reads per sample.
