Status Public on Feb 07, 2024
Title MuscleA_Sheep
Sample type SRA

Source name muscle
Organism Ovis aries
Characteristics tissue: muscle
developmental stage: adult
Extracted molecule genomic DNA
Extraction protocol DNA was extracted according to the TIANamp Genomic DNA Kit protocol
DNA libraries were prepared for sequencing using standard Illumina protocols

Library strategy Bisulfite-Seq
Library source genomic
Library selection RANDOM
Instrument model HiSeq X Ten

Data processing FastQC v 0.11.2 and Trim Galore v 0.4.0 was used to assess the quality of the sequence data and filter low-quality reads (q < 30), respectively. The cleaned data were then mapped to the sscrofa11.1 genomes using bowtie2 under the Bismark software (0.14.5) with default parameters
Duplicated reads were removed using deduplicate_bismark
symmetric-cpgs was employed to obtain methyl CpG site information using methpipe software
Assembly: ARS-UCD1.2, Oar_rambouillet_v1.0, ARS1
Supplementary files format and content: CpG report files
