Brain dissection was performed in the cryostat using frozen brain tissues collected from Grin2a and Grin2b mutant mice. RNA was prepared from microdissected tissues using RNeasy Mini Kit (Qiagen). 200 ng of isolated total RNA from each sample was used for the construction of sequencing libraries.
RNA libraries for RNA-seq were prepared using an Illumina TruSeq Stranded mRNA Kit (Illumina) following the manufacturer’s instructions.
