Sample GSM7744303 Query DataSets for GSM7744303
Status Public on Jul 17, 2024
Title TAF7L Knockout 2
Sample type SRA

Source name Testis
Organism Rattus norvegicus
Characteristics strain: Holtzman Sprague-Dawley
age: Post natal day 60
genotype: TAF7L Null
Extracted molecule polyA RNA
Extraction protocol Testes were removed, flash frozen on dry ice, and RNA was harvested using Trizol reagent according to the manufacturer's recommendations.
Libraries were prepared from poly-A containing RNAs according to protocols provided by the TruSeq RNA sample preparation kits (Illumina).

Library strategy RNA-Seq
Library source transcriptomic
Library selection cDNA
Instrument model Illumina NovaSeq 6000

Description Testis from TAF7L Knockout rat at postnatal day 60
Data processing Following generation of sequencing images, the pixel-level raw darta collection, image analysis, and base-calling were performed by Real Time Analysis software (Illumina)
Base call files were converted to qseq files by BCL converter (Illumina), and qseq files were converted to fastq files for downstream analysis.
Reads from fastq files were mapped to the rat reference genome (Rnor_5.0.7) using CLC Bio Genomics Workbench 7.0 (CLC Bio, Aarhus, Denmark)
Assembly: Rnor5
Supplementary files format and content: excel file containing reads per kilobase per million reads (RPKM).
