Description Expression profiling of the leukemia patient number 14413, presenting GATA overexpression and absence of FLT3 mutation.
Data processing Data were imported to the Array Norm 1.7.2 software (Institute for Genomics and Bioinformatics, Graz University of Technology, Austria) for data processing and normalization. The intensity value associated to each spot was calculated subtracting the local background noise from the foreground values. Then, the Lowess normalization method was applied to normalize the data. Finally, the scale across slides function was used and the data were base 2 logarithm transformed and imported to the Genesis software (Institute for Genomics and Bioinformatics, Graz University of Technology, Austria) for statistical analysis. Only genes without missing values were included in the analysis. All different comparisons between groups were performed by using ANOVA with a p value threshold of 0.01 and a fold ratio threshold of 2 between the two groups of patients tested in each comparison.
