Sequence reads were obtained from Genewiz (South Plainfield, NJ)
Sequenced reads were trimmed for adaptor sequence and then mapped to Drosophila melanogaster reference genome (release r6.41_FB2021_04) using STAR v2.7.9a
Raw counts for each sample were obtained using featureCounts v2.0.0
Differentially expressed genes were determined using DESeq2 v1.42.0
Assembly: Drosophila melanogaster reference genome (release r6.41_FB2021_04)
Supplementary files format and content: RawCounts_AllSamples.csv: CSV file containing raw gene counts for every gene and every sample
Supplementary files format and content: NormalizedCounts_AllSamples.csv: CSV file containing normalized counts for all protein-coding genes for each sample
