Monoclonal gammopathy of undetermined significance defined by the presence in the serum of an IgG, IgA, or (rarely) IgD paraprotein at a concentration of less than 30g/L; clonal bone marrow plasma cells less than 10%; and absence of end-organ damage such as hypercalcemia, renal insufficiency, anemia, bone marrow lesions, and amyloidosis attributable to the plasma cell proliferative disorder.
