Analysis of skin biopsies from nickel-allergic patients whose skins were exposed to nickel, a sensitizing hapten, for up to 96 hours to elicit allergic contact dermatitis (ACD). Results provide insight into molecular mechanisms underlying the pathogenesis of ACD.
