Title |
HDL protects against myocardial ischemia reperfusion injury via miR-34b and miR-337 expression which requires STAT3 |
Platform organism |
synthetic construct |
Sample organism |
Mus musculus |
Experiment type |
Non-coding RNA profiling by array
|
Summary |
We investigated whether the cardioprotective effect of HDL modulates miRNAs as a downstream target of STAT3 activation.

|
Overall design |
miRNAs profile was analysed by microarray. The analysis was divided in 6 groups: 3 experimental protocols (sham=no ischemia, IR=ischemia reperfusion protocol and IR+HDL= ischemia reperfusion protocol, treated with HDL at the onset of reperfusion) and 2 mouse genotype (WT=willd type, STAT3_KO=STAT3 cardiac-restricted KO). This microarray analysis includes 3 mice per group.
