Definition

A rare, benign, usually polypoid neoplasm that arises from the cervix. It is characterized by the presence of a glandular component and a smooth muscle cell component. Variants include the endocervical-type, mesonephric-type, and atypical polypoid adenomyoma. [from NCI]
